Inspired by the array of characters in the Spring woodland.
Wheel-thrown, decorated with layers of slip masked by stencils to create the images. Carved handles, lids and spouts inspired by tree bark. Wood ash from the woodland added to food-safe glaze to physically connect the teapot to the place that inspired it. The inside is glazed for food safety, and the outside is left unglazed for a tactile experience.
While every cup will feature the image in its name, and similar foliage to that photographed, each cup will be uniquely decorated.
